Cara Mendaftar Email di Server UGM @mail.ugm.ac.id

Kini, berkirim korespondensi melalui surat elektronik (surel/email) sudah menjadi hal yang jamak. Umumnya kita menggunakan alamat email yang dihosting di penyedia layanan surel gratis. Ada banyak penyedia layanan email gratis, puluhan bahkan mungkin ratusan. Yang paling terkenal misalnya google mail, yahoo mail, MSN/Hotmail. Bagaimana dengan UGM? Apakah memungkinkan kita mendaftar email yang dihosting di server UGM? Tentu akan memberikan nilai kebanggaan tersendiri bila kita memiliki email dengan domain @ugm.ac.id kan? Memiliki email dengan domain nama lembaga tertentu memang keren. Bangga itu pasti. Apalagi bila lembaga penyedia adalah institusi terkenal. Tentu akan lebih meningkatkan citra diri dan kebanggaan pribadi. Kredibilitas akan semakin terdongkrak karena email berakhiran lembaga tentunya tidak diperuntukkan bagi semua orang. Hanya orang-orang yang berafiliasi dengan lembaga tersebut yang diperbolehkan menyandangnya. Pendaftaran Email Civitas Akademika Universitas Gadjah Mada

Posting Pendaftaran Email Civitas Akademika Universitas Gadjah Mada ini merupakan kelanjutan dari posting Cara Mendaftar Email di Server UGM @mail.ugm.ac.id. Posting sebelumnya merupakan pengantar dan hal-hal yang perlu diketahui sebelum mendaftarkan email dengan domain ugm.ac.id di belakangnya. Pendaftaran email untuk Unit Kerja Pimpinan Unit Kerja (unit-unit dibawah fakultas) membuat surat pengajuan email yang ditujukan ke Direktur Direktorat Sistem dan Sumber Daya Informasi UGM. Surat permohonan ditandatangani oleh pimpinan unit kerja, serta dicantumkan alamat email dan nomor HP penanggungjawab email tersebut. Surat permohonan bisa dikirimkan melalui email ke dsdi@ugm.ac.id (surat yang sudah discan) atau diantar langsung ke Direktorat Sistem dan Sumber Daya Informasi UGM. Petugas layanan akan sesegera mungkin membuatkan email setelah surat diterima di bagian layanan.
